Massage explanations

Thai Yoga Massage
Thai Yoga Massage is a unique and powerful rhythmic massage, combining yoga therapy, gentle assisted yoga stretching, acupressure, energy work and meditation.

The massage creates a powerful release of stress and tension and an increase in vitality and wellbeing. It aims at stimulating the flow of healing energies within the body, opening blocked areas and bringing body, mind and spirit back into balance and harmony.

By allowing energy to flow more freely, the massage works to alleviate problematic conditions such as lower back pain, arthritis, circulation problems, headaches, digestive difficulties, menstrual problems and stress-related conditions.

There are no oils used and you remain fully clothed (best come in comfortable cloths)

Indian head massage
Indian head massage is a beautiful gentle massage on the shoulders, neck, head and face to manipulate energy channels in order to release the stress that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of these areas. The massage helps to increase joint mobility and flexibility in the neck and shoulders, improves blood circulation and lymphatic flow, frees knots of muscular tension, relaxes connective tissue, and aids in the elimination of accumulated toxins and waste products.

Indian head massage is especially good for relieving stress, tension, fatigue, insomnia, headaches, migraine and sinusitis. The experience is deeply calming and relaxing and leaves the receiver with energising and revitalising effects which help concentration.

The Indian head massage is performed on a chair with the use of natural or essential oils and you remain fully clothed.

Watsu
A gentle form of body therapy performed in warm water (around 32 degrees). Watsu combines elements of massage, joint mobilisation, shiatsu, muscle stretching and dance. The receiver is continuously supported while being floated, cradled, rocked and stretched. The effects of warm water and nurturing support, combined with Watsu's movements, can bring you to an experience of deep relaxation, a blissful letting go and a meditative stillness.

The massage is performed in warm water. Being able to swim is not necessary.
